| Operational objectives |
Apvienot plānotu ārpusstacionāra dzemdību vecmātes.
Pārstāvēt apvienības biedru intereses, veicināt starpdisciplināru sadarbību, pieredzes apmaiņu, pētījumos balstītas prakses pielietošanu sieviešu un jaundzimušo aprūpē. Veicināt diskusiju un definēt (ārpusstacionāra) vecmāšu darba jomu, uzdevums, atbildību un pienākums, tajā skaitā izstrādāt vadlīnijas ārpusstacionāra dzemdību vadīšanai. Veicināt sabiedrības veselību un izglītību par drošas, kvalitatīvas dzemdību aprūpes faktoriem un pozitīvas dzemdību pieredzes nozīmi bērnam, vecākiem un sabiedrībai kopumā. Pārstāvēt topošo un esošo vecāku un jaundzimušo intereses. Atbalstīt sievietes tiesības izvēlēties piemērotāko grūtniecības aprūpi, dzemdību palīdzības sniedzēju un vietu, kā arī veicināt "nauda seko dzemdētājai" principa ieviešanu. Veicināt vecmāšu sadarbību ar valsts un publiskā sektora iestādēm veselības aprūpes jomā. Uzlabot sadarbību starpplānotu ārpusstacionāra dzemdību vecmāšu un Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienesta speciālistu, kā arī stacionāru dzemdību nodaļu personālu. Dokumentēt un analizēt plānotu ārpusstacionāra dzemdību statistiku Latvijā, apkopotā veidā sniegt par to informāciju sabiedrībai. Īstenot vecmāšu praksi atbilstoši ES sektoriālajām direktīvām. |
