Biedrības biedru savstarpējās sadarbības veicināšana;
sadarbība ar Latvijas Jūras akadēmijas un tās struktūrvienību studentiem, absolventiem, mācībspēkiem, darbiniekiem; sadarbība ar valsts un pašvaldību institūcijām, uzņēmumiem un sociālajiem partneriem, t.sk. studentu prakses vietu un darba iespēju jautājumos; Latvijas Jūras akadēmijas un tās absolventu prestiža celšana; augstākās izglītības un zinātnes veicināšana Latvijā; semināru un konferenču organizēšana par jūras transporta un saistīto nozaru problēmjautājumiem; veicināt nozares profesionāļu iesaisti diplomdarbu un maģistra darbu vadīšanā, dalībā aizstāvēšanas komisijās un profesionālās pieredzes nodošanā Latvijas Jūras akadēmijas esošajiem studentiem; citu sabiedrisko aktivitāšu organizēšana. |
