veicināt Latvijas ritmiskās, improvizētās un laikmetīgās mūzikas attīstību Latvijā un ārvalstīs;
sekmēt Latvijas mūziķu radošo darbību; sekmēt Latvijas komponistu jaunrades – skaņdarbu, aranžējumu un instrumentāciju – izveidi; veicināt un atbalstīt Biedrības biedru tālākizglītību, nodrošinot dalību meistarklasēs, konkursos un citās aktivitātēs; rīkot izglītojošus pasākumus mūzikas jomā dažādām vecuma grupām; izstrādāt un izdot metodisko mācību literatūru; veikt studijas un koncertu audio un video ierakstus; veicināt Latvijas un ārvalstu mūziķu savstarpējo komunikāciju un pieredzes apmaiņu; veicināt Biedrības sadarbību ar citu mākslas nozaru pārstāvjiem Latvijā un ārvalstīs. |
