1. Veicināt Garkalnes ciema un pagasta, citu nelielu pašvaldību vietējo iedzīvotāju kopdarbību un pilsonisko aktivitāti, nodrošinot kopienas un apkaimes attīstību savas dzīves kvalitātes uzlabošanai;
2.Veicināt savstarpēju izglītošanos caur pieredzes apmaiņu un izglītojošiem pasākumiem savā starpā, kā arī ar citu pašvaldību un nevalstisko organizāciju biedriem Latvijā un citās valstīs; veicināt iedzīvotāju iesaisti neformālās izglītības pasākumos; 3.Veicināt dabas un enerģijas resursu ilgtspējīgu izmantošanu, dabas vērtību aizsardzību, sabiedrības vides apziņas veidošanos un sabiedrības līdzdalību apkaimju un dabas teritoriju sakopšanā un kaitīgas ietekmes uz vidi novēršanā. |
