| Operational objectives |
1. popularizēt geštaltaterapijas teoriju un metodes;
2. popularizēt geštaltterapiju kā profesionālu darbību; 3. geštaltterapeijas metožu popularizēšana; 4. skaidrot sabiedrībai Biedrības Ētikas kodeksu; 5. ētisko normu regulēšana geštaltterapeitu profesionālā darbībā; 6. informēt sabiedrību par geštaltterapijas mūsdienīgām profesionālām psihiskās veselības veicināšanas metodēm; 7. apvienot un aizsargāt speciālistus (personiskas un juridiskas intereses), kuri geštaltterapiju izmanto savā profesionālajā darbībā; 8. sekmēt speciālistu, kuri geštaltterapiju izmanto savā profesionālajā darbībā, profesionālo izaugsmi un kvalifikācijas celšanu, kas atbilstu Eiropas Geštaltterapijas asociācijas standartiem; 9. sadarbība, atbalsts, savstarpēja palīdzība geštaltterapijas kolēģu jomā Latvijā un ārpus Latvijas; 10. liberāli-demokrātisko vērtību atbalsts un attīstībā gestaltterapeitu profesionālā darbībā; 11. celt geštalterapeita profesijas prestižu sabiedrībā un citu psihoterapijas virzienu vidū; 12. izstrādāt un ieviest vienotus geštaltterapeitu apmācību standartus; 13. izstrādāt un ieviest geštalteterapeita ētikas principus; 14. aizstāvēt Biedrības biedru intereses un tiesības; 15. pārstāvēt Biedrības biedru intereses komunikācijā ar sabiedrību, dažādām sabiedrības interešu grupām un valsts pārvaldes un pašvaldību institūcijām; 16. organizēt un vadīt seminārus, lekcijas, konferences; 17. izdot grāmatas, bukletus un žurnālus par tēmām, kas saistītas ar geštalterapiju; 18. veikt pētījumus geštaltterapijas un cilvēku psihiskās veselības jomā. |
