| Operational objectives |
1.Pārstāvēt un nodrošināt tiesiskos, organizatoriskos, tehniskos, likumdošanas un citus priekšnosacījumus gaļas pārstrādes nozares attīstībai Latvijā;
2.Veicināt ilgtspējīgu, videi draudzīgu un līdzsvarotu ražošanu, lai nodrošinātu gaļas pārstrādes nozares ilgtspējīgu attīstību, nozares speciālistu sagatavošanu un apmācību; 3.Veicināt gaļas pārstrādes nozares ekonomisko attīstību, gaļas pārstrādes produktu ražošanu un realizāciju, kā arī nodrošināt Latvijas gaļas pārstrādes sekmīgu darbību Eiropas Savienības kopējā tirgus ekonomisko attiecību apstākļos; 4.Veicināt gaļas pārstrādes nozares līdzdalību vides politikas izstrādē un īstenošanā, piedalīties normatīvo aktu un politikas plānošanas dokumentu sagatavošanā jautājumos, kas skar nozares politiku tiešā vai pastarpinātā veidā. Veicināt sadarbību un informācijas apmaiņu šajā jomā starp atsevišķām personām un sabiedrību kopumā, kā arī valsts iestādēm un pašvaldībām; 5. Pieejamā finansējuma apjomā izstrādāt un realizēt projektus un programmas, kuru nepieciešamību nosaka Latvijas un Eiropas Savienības likumdošana vai, kuri ir nepieciešami nozares attīstības veicināšanai; 6.Biedru interešu pārstāvība valsts pārvaldes institūcijās, attiecībās ar citām juridiskām personām, organizācijām un to apvienībām kā Latvijas Republikā, tā arī ārzemēs, abpusējas sadarbības veicināšana un stiprināšana; 7.Latvijas normatīvo aktu attīstības veicināšana, tādējādi pilnveidojot gaļas pārstrādātāju regulējumu un veicinot valsts atbalstu Latvijas gaļas pārstrādātājiem; 8.Gaļas pārstrādātāju tirgus izpēte, ieteikumu izstrāde, nozari skarošas informācijas izplatīšana (t.sk. reklāmas un citu iespieddarbu izdošana); 9.Savstarpējās sadarbības attīstīšana un koordinēšana starp biedriem tādējādi veicinot veselīgu konkurenci. |
