Latvijas zvejniecības tradīciju saglabāšana, nozares attīstība, sabiedrības līdzdalības veicināšana zivju resursu apsaimniekošanā un pārvaldībā atbilstoši zivju resursu atražošanas pasākumu veicināšana, palīdzības sniegšana zvejniecībā nodarbinātajām personām;
Pārstāvēt biedrību un tās biedru intereses vietējās pašvaldībās, nevalstiskās un valsts organizācijas; Apvienot zvejniecībā darbojošās juridiskās personas kopēju mērķu sasniegšanai; Biedrības zvejnieku interešu pārstāvēšana zivsaimniecības organizācijās, pašvaldībā un zivsaimniecības pētniecības institūtā; Sadarbība ar citām zvejnieku apvienībām un zivju resursu aizsardzības iestādēm, kā arī ar dažādām vides aizsardzības organizācijām; Novada zvejnieku vēstures pētīšana un iespēju robežās, tradīciju atjaunošana. |
