Vienot arodbiedrības biedrus kopīgu uzdevumu veikšanai;
nodrošināt arodbiedrības biedru darba, ekonomisko, sociālo un profesionālo tiesību un interešu pārstāvēšanu nacionālā un starptautiskā līmenī; veicināt Arodbiedrības biedru dzīves līmeņa uzlabošanu; darba aizsardzības līmeņa, tai skaitā, darba apstākļu uzlabošana un darba vides riska novēršana vai samazināšana; sekmēt tādu valsts politikas vidi, kas veicina biedru darba un dzīves apstākļu uzlabošanos, t.sk. darba samaksas, paaugstināšana; veicināt sabiedrības izpratni par arodbiedrībām un sociālo dialogu; paplašināt arodbiedrību līdzdalību tiesiskas valsts un demokrātiskas sabiedrības veidošanā. |
