Operational objectives 1.Rūpēties par zinātniskiem pierādījumiem balstītas rehabilitācijas medicīnas sistēmas attīstību Latvijā un veicinātu fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas ārstu profesionālo sadarbību ar citu specialitāšu un profesiju rehabilitācijas speciālistiem un viņu profesionālajām organizācijām;
2.Veicināt Starptautiskās funkcionēšanas klasifikācijas (SFK) un UEMS PRM Baltās grāmatas ieviešanu Latvijā un attīstīt uz funkcionēšanas novērtēšanas principiem balstītu invaliditātes mazināšanas un darba spēju veicināšanas rehabilitācijas pakalpojumu pieejamību;
3.Sekmēt fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas ārstu specialitātes profesionalitāti un prestižu veselības aprūpes sistēmā un sabiedrībā, kā arī kopumā veicinātu Latvijas fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas specialitātes ārstu profesionālos un sociālos kontaktus ar līdzīgām Eiropas un pasaules profesionālajām organizācijām;
4.Stiprināt fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas ārstu organizāciju savstarpējo sadarbību Latvijā;
5.Veicināt fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas rezidentu profesionālo izaugsmi piedaloties fizikālās un rehabilitācijas medicīnas ārstu pēcdiploma apmācības (rezidentūras) un sertifikācijas procesa organizēšanā;
6.Veicināt ētikas prasību ievērošanu rehabilitācijas procesā un savstarpēju sadarbību ar pacientus pārstāvošajām organizācijām;
7.Atbalstīt savus biedrus un aizstāvēt viņu profesionālās intereses;
8.Ar rehabilitācijas nozari saistītajās jomās attīstīt pētniecību un aktīvi informēt veselības aprūpes politikas veidotājus par atbilstošu pētījumu rezultātiem.
