Dažāda veida drošības pakalpojumu jomu pārstāvošo komersantu un pētnieku apvienošana;
Detektīvdarbības kā patstāvīga noziedzīgu nodarījumu un citu veida deliktu atklāšanas un novēršanas veida attīstība, kā arī detektīva profesijas prestiža celšana; Apsardzes un cita veida drošības pakalpojumu jomas prestiža un kvalitātes celšana un stiprināšana; Vienotas prakses cilvēktiesību un indivīda tiesību aizsardzībā attīstīšana; Veicināt biedru un sabiedrības izpratni par drošības jautājumiem, biedru interešu pārstāvēšana tiesību aktu projektu izstrādes un izvērtēšanas procesā; Sniegt atbalstu iedzīvotāju, viņu tiesību un ar likumu aizsargāto interešu aizskārumu gadījumus; Demokrātiskas valsts principiem atbilstošas prakses stiprināšanai, veidot sadarbību ar Latvijas Republikas un ārvalstu valsts un pašvaldības iestādēm, sabiedriskajām organizācijām, komersantiem un privātpersonām; Izstrādāt un realizēt projektus tiesību un ar likumu aizsargāto interešu aizskāruma novēršanai un apkarošanai; Veicināt un līdzdarboties vides aizsardzības sistēmas stiprināšanā; Atbalstīt valsts un pašvaldību iestāžu iniciatīvas likumpārkāpumu novēršanā. |
