Pārstāvēt un aizstāvēt asociācijas biedru profesionālās, ekonomiskās un tiesiskās intereses attiecībās ar valsts, pašvaldību institūcijām, citām juridiskām un fiziskām personām;
piedalīties normatīvo aktu projektu izstrādē, kas reglamentē zāļu un medicīnisko ierīču klīnisko izpēti; ievērot un veicināt starptautisko labas prakses standartu: labas ražošanas prakses, labas klīniskās prakses un labas laboratorijas prakses ievērošanu pētniecībā; aizstāvēt pētījumos iesaistīto pacientu intereses un veicināt iespējas pacientiem piedalīties klīniskos pētījumos Latvijā, tādējādi nodrošinot iespēju saņemt jaunus un inovatīvus medikamentus un papildus izmeklējumus; veicināt sadarbību ar ārvalstu organizācijām nozares konkurētspējīgai attīstībai Latvijā; veikt un atbalstīt sabiedrības informēšanu un izglītošanu zāļu un medicīnisko ierīču klīniskās izpētes jautājumos; izveidot klīniskā pētniecībā iesaistīto pušu sadarbības platformu; saglabāt un celt klīniskās izpētes nozares prestižu un konkurētspēju pasaulē |
