Operational objectives Veicināt kultūras, izglītības un sociālekonomisko attīstību, vides apziņas veidošanos un starptautisko sadarbību;
tradicionālas kultūras mantojumu apzināšana un iedzīvināšana, novada kultūras mantojuma izpēte, tautas mākslas un tradīciju popularizēšana;
demokrātiskas, pilsoniskas un izglītotas sabiedrības un reģionālās attīstības veicināšana reģionālā, novadu, valsts un Eiropas Savienības mērogā;
iedzīvotāju radošās iniciatīvas, mūžizglītības un pieredzes apmaiņas veicināšana;
vietējās ekonomikas izaugsmes un nodarbinātības veicināšana, sociālās atstumtības riska mazināšana;
sadarbība ar vietējiem un ārvalstu partneriem Eiropas Savienības struktūrfondu un citu finansējuma piesaistē, apgūšana un kopīgu iniciatīvu realizācijai;
pasākumu (t.sk. sporta), nometņu organizēšana un vadīšana bērniem, jauniešiem un pieaugušajiem;
nodrošināt un atbalstīt dažāda veida interešu izglītības, mūžizglītības kursus, projektus un pieredzes braucienus;
