veicināt sakarus ar citu valstu sporta žurnālistu organizācijām un Starptautisko Sporta preses asociāciju (AIPS); rūpēties par jaunrades brīvību preses izdevumos, radio, TV; sekmēt jauno sporta žurnālistu ienākšanu profesionālajā apritē; rīkot jaunrades konkursus, seminārus; veicināt sporta žurnālistu profesionālo darbību un sekmēt apstākļus šī darba veikšanai; rūpēties par ievērojamāko sporta žurnālistu piemiņas saglabāšanu. |
