Operational objectives apvienot Latvijas tiesnešus kopīgā saimē, lai veicinātu tiesnešu garīgo, profesionālo, sociāli- materiālo tiesību aizsardzību, tiesu prestiža un tiesu varas nostiprināšanu valstī,
pētīt un analizēt Latvijas un citu valstu tiesu praksi,
iesaistīties tiesību aktu pilnveidošanā, izmantojot arī starptautisko tiesību normas un piemērošanas praksi,
rūpēties par Latvijas valsts vēsturisko tiesisko tradīciju un tiesu vēstures apzināšanu un saglabāšanu,
aizstāvēt biedrības biedru tiesības un likumīgās intereses,
veicināt biedrības biedru saprašanos un tuvināšanos, sakaru attīstību ar citu valstu tiesnešu biedrībām,
sniegt biedrības biedriem materiālo palīdzību Savstarpējās palīdzības nolikumā paredzētajos gadījumos un kārtībā.
