Privacy Policy


1. The controller of personal data processing is the limited liability company “Tarantino”, registration number 40203034020, legal address: Rīga, Tallinas iela 10, LV-1001, e-mail: info at kombo.lv (hereinafter – the Controller).

2. The Controller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter – the GDPR), the Personal Data Processing Law, and other binding laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

3. This Privacy Policy covers all processing of personal data, regardless of how such data comes into the possession of the Controller and regardless of the method of processing.

4. The subjects of this Privacy Policy are the users of the Controller’s services, suppliers, employees, as well as persons whose data may be displayed on the website if such data is publicly available in official registers of the Republic of Latvia and is processed for the purpose of re-use.

5. The legal basis for processing personal data is the Controller’s legitimate interests in establishing and maintaining legal relationships, fulfilling obligations imposed on the Controller by applicable laws and regulations, as well as processing and displaying data from the publicly available parts of official registers of the Republic of Latvia for the purpose of re-use.

6. The Controller ensures the protection and confidentiality of personal data using both organisational and technical measures (including intrusion prevention solutions and encryption of data during transmission (SSL)).

7. The obligation of the Controller’s cooperation partners who process data to ensure compliance with personal data processing and protection requirements is established in the Controller’s agreements with such partners at a level not lower than that set by the Controller.

8. In certain cases, in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations or due to the specific nature of service provision, the Controller’s cooperation partners based in third countries may access personal data processed by the Controller. In such cases, the principles described in Clause 7 are observed.

9. Data of the parties to legal relationships is stored and processed as long as either party has a legal obligation to retain such data, as long as the Controller may exercise its legitimate interests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, or as long as an individual’s consent remains valid (if such consent has been given for a specific purpose). Once these circumstances cease to exist, personal data is deleted or anonymised to the extent applicable.

10. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, an individual has the right to request from the Controller the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of their data, as well as to receive all information about themselves that is in the Controller’s possession. A request regarding data that the Controller has received directly from the individual (e.g., contact form submissions, correspondence, user account data – if maintained) must be submitted by e-mail to info at kombo.lv, signed with a secure electronic signature. The Controller’s written response will be sent within 30 days to the e-mail address indicated in the request, signed with a secure electronic signature.

11. The right to erasure referred to in Clause 10 does not apply to data obtained from publicly available official registers and processed/displayed for the purpose of re-use. This includes (but is not limited to) information available in the public part of the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia (UR) about officials, shareholders/members, beneficial owners, marital property agreements, commercial pledges, insolvency proceedings, etc., as well as information from the State Revenue Service (SRS/VID) public database and data from public administration open data. Such data will not be deleted from kombo.lv upon an individual request as long as it remains publicly available in the official source. References:

12. If an individual believes that information about them available in the registers mentioned above is inaccurate or is published in a manner that does not comply with binding legal requirements, the individual must contact the respective data publisher/controller. The Controller does not alter such data independently, but ensures its automated update on the website once changes take effect in the official source.

13. If an individual notices that information available on kombo.lv does not correspond to publicly available data in the official sources of the respective data publishers, please inform the administration of the kombo.lv website.

14. An individual has the right to withdraw at any time the consent given for data processing, if such consent has been provided on the Controller’s website kombo.lv for a specific purpose.

15. The Controller’s website kombo.lv uses cookies.
